How to install android sdk in windows os?

Just follow steps below:
  1. Download android sdk windows version from https://developer.android.com/sdk/older_releases
  2. Extract the downloaded file to C:\ drive and rename it to android.
  3. Go to Environment variables located in advanced system setting in advanced tab
  4. Select path and then press edit
  5. Add at the end of the text ;C:\android\platforms;C:\android\tools
  6. Now open CMD by typing in search box.
  7. In CMD, type android, if sdk windows open then everything is fine.
